Andre Darby

André D’Arby is a gifted singer, song-writer, play-writer, stage-actor, musician and producer. His artistic skills have forwarded him the opportunity to share his talents with many across the globe. He is often compared as being the Gospel version of his oldest brother, Grammy Award winner & multi-platinum recording artist, Terence Trent D’Arby.

Andre has shared the stage with some of Gospel’s greatest artists including; John P. Kee, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Dr. Bobby Jones, Shirley Caesar, The William Brothers, Martha Munizzi, Luther Barnes and many more.
 

"Humble, Patient, Anointed & Talented"

At the age of four, Andre officially displayed his desire for music when he attempted to play the drums. He then was taken under the wings of his brother Terence, whereas he learned to play. This was the motivation that charged his interest in being an instrumentalist. After mastering drums, He then taught himself how to play the piano, and later took interest in singing. Andre was born in Deland, Fl, to Bishop James & Frances Darby. His father is a Pentecostal preacher and his mother is a retired educator and a powerful vocalist, whom he inherited his voice.  

Andre is also a talented stage-actor. His first acting opportunity was the leading role in the Gospel Musical “Tell Hell I Ain’t Comin,” which played London’s Catford Broadway Theater. Whereas, he received rave reviews for his performances. Since, Andre has share the stage with other great talents such as; Jackee Harry, Carl Payne, Clyde R. Jones, Tasha Page Lockhart, Drew Sidora & more!
