The soulful and multi-talented Anthony Brewer started singing at the age of five and has loved belting out tunes since then.   

Anthony is well known and has a following in the Atlanta area with his incredible ability to engage audiences and awesome delivery.  He is gaining momentum with his new R&B single, “The Losing End,’ produced and arranged by Motown alumni and songwriter, Jimmy Roach of Jibaro Music.  Anthony’s perfectly smooth vocals speak that universal language of love.  

Anthony performed as a youngster and by the age of fourteen was directing choirs at The First Baptist Church of Lakeland in his hometown of Michigan City, Indiana. The theater bug bit Anthony around that time, as well, when he performed in his first play, “Peter Pan”.  He attended Elston High School where musical theater became Anthony’s passion, performing in productions of “Hello Dolly”, “Cinderella”, and “Fiddler on the Roof”.    

Eventually, Anthony’s talent was recognized and he was recruited by, and teamed up with Bridgette Hurt, and landed several opportunities sharing the stage with a number of heavy hitters. Anthony performed background vocals for Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark-Cole, La Shawn Pace, Yolanda Adams, Rev. Shirley Caesar, Jonathan Nelson, William Murphy, Bishop Paul Morton, and Brian Courtney Wilson. 
Anthony has performed in other musicals and theatrical productions including a debut in a lead role as the Lion in a production of “The Wiz”.  Most recently, Anthony secured a role in the legenday Stepp Stewart’s production of “A Soulful Christmas."

Anthony and his wife of 19 years, April currently live in metro Atlanta, GA with their three children. They all share his love for music and theater.

Ferguson (Too Many)

 
 

Anthony Brewer, has released his newest single, “Ferguson (Too Many),” written, arranged & produced by Jimmy Roach, a brilliant producer and former Motown staffer Anthony tells the emotional story of the racial injustice and police brutality happening in America. Starting with the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, and continuing by telling stories of the countless other lives lost and cities affected. In the music video for “Ferguson (Too Many),” which is available on YouTube, viewers are able to see images of those whose lives were taken too soon, the grieving families, and protests taking place in efforts to end the suffering.
